Located on the picturesque banks of the River Gauja in the quiet woodlands of Northeastern Latvia, this hotel and its 12-hectare territory offer excellent opportunities for sports activities, outdoor games, entertainment and relaxation. Lacites features cosy and comfortable rooms, log cabins and bungalows standing among pine trees in a fascinating natural landscape. It perfectly combines modern amenities with a traditional, natural ambience, as shown by its green lawn roof. There is an indoor heated swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna, an open-air hot tub, and a terrace overlooking the pond. The Roadside Café and the Terrace Restaurant serve traditional, seasonal Latvian cuisine, as well as international dishes. A large playground is right next to the restaurant. Summer activities include swimming, sunbathing, roller skating, cycling, fishing, beach volleyball, football, and all kinds of water sports in the pond. A wide range of sports equipment can be rented. There are several places in the park that are suited for picnics and campfires. One of the very special places at Lacites is the sweating bathhouse, used for traditional steam baths. Another unforgettable experience is provided by the open-air hot tubs.
