    Arkaba Station is a charming homestead, originally built in 1856 as a traditional Australian sheep ranch. Arkaba offers rustic charm and luxury in the shadow the Flinders Ranges National Park. The Arkaba Homestead offers elegant traditional-style bedrooms, each with a private en suite bathroom and access to the veranda. The rooms are air conditioned and classically decorated. An infinity edge pool overlooks the Arkaba Creek. Guests can relax in the deep leather armchairs, by the large stone fireplace in the library. Dinner is hosted on the terrace overlooking the ranges. The Arkaba Stations’s resident chef prepares traditional cuisine with contemporary elements. An open bar with a selection of fine beverages is also available to guests. Located in the heart of the Flinders Ranges, the natural surroundings are excellent for wildlife-watching, bush-walking, photography, or relaxing. Arkaba remains a working sheep station and offers insight to life on a medium-sized traditional outback property. The Arkaba Station is a 4.5-hour drive or a 65-minute private chartered flight from central Adelaide.
