    At the foot of Nelshoogte Pass, the colonial-style Dawson's Lodge offers a relaxing retreat with spa facilities and spectacular mountain panoramas. It has an outdoor pool and a spacious garden. Herds of zebras, giraffes and indigenous cattle roam the area, providing Dawson's guests with opportunities for wild animal watching. The perennial streams and waterfalls abound in trout, perfect for fishing. Each room at Dawson's Game and Trout Lodge is creatively decorated with rich colours and luxurious materials.
