Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky (1866) reputed as the grand Dame of Amsterdam five-star hotels, completed an extensive renovation and expansion in the spring of 1995. The hotel now offers 429 rooms, a multifunctional congress centre, various restaurants, shops, a brown cafe, inner garden with terrace, beauty salon, hair dresser, and a Business Centre. There are 12 luxury apartments, and a secured parking garage. With all of these facilities under one roof, the new Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky created its own ' village on the Dam'.

Grand hotel Krasnapolsky now has two Japanese restaurants. In Restaurant Edo, guests can enjoy special meals made before their eyes on the Teppan-yaki table. Restaurant Kyo serves traditional Japanese specialties like sushi, sashimi and tempura. Mexican and Italian restaurants are also to be found in the new wing of the Hotel.
In the timeless ambiance of our celebrated Winter Garden which dates back to 1879, one may enjoy an extensive breakfast or lunch buffet seven days a week. The impressive glass palace filled with stately palm trees and plants is an outstanding location for receptions, dinners and parties. On Sundays a festive brunch, complete with life music can be enjoyed.
