Ahhh...another nameless poster speaking of which they know
naught. I happen to be a security consultant and singling out
someone because of their family name or their grandparents' nationality
is not effective security. Profiling gets a bad name because
of superficial security such as this instead of using more effective
means of intelligence such as studying the behavior of the travellers
and their travel arrangements. I know that they use these means
in Britain as I have led training classes for them but they still
waste their time with other futile searches.
I do agree with you that the security in Israel is probably
the most effective in the world but they make mistakes also.
Please refrain from assuming that someone is whining just because
they have a dissenting opinion. I'm proud to be an American where
I have the freedom to express it and nowhere did I say that security
at airports should be eliminated for my convencience. So read
carefully before you anonymously try to tear into my comment.

Without compromising security techniques against terrorists, can you tell us how to avoid getting searched at airports for dope? There are some obvious things, such as dressing conservatively, good hygiene, conservative luggage, but what are the other things they look for? I think one would be insane to try to bring anything into the US at the moment, but I know there are those out there who will try.
