I recently posted a gripe about airfares I was finding at
expedia. I just went to www.orbitz.com and found air pretty reasonable.
If we leave from Atlanta on 5/28 and return 6/6 it`s $541 per
person plus $10 service fee. This is on US airways with having
to change planes in Philly. I paid $492 3 years ago in Jan on
KLM so I thought this price is damn good for May. Anyone seasoned
flyers here think this is a legit thing? Is orbitz reliable etc?
Should i book this now or wait? I can`t see it getting much cheaper.
Expedia`s price was like $960 each. Experienced advice is highly
welcome! :)well, i went to priceline.com and got what appears to be the same flight you got. i placed a bid for 325 per ticket. they accepted the offer. they added 76$ for taxes and my ticket came to 401$ (each)..they added 5.95 process fee which brought the total to 406.95 each r/trip ticket..then with the 12.50 (delivery charge) we got 2 r/trip tickets for a total of $826.40..that was great! We fly US airlines/depart atlanta 4:45p.m. (april 17th) arrive philadelphia 6:40..depart phil 8:05, arrive amsterdam-schiphol 9:40a.m.,4/18...(that will be great if the flights not tooooo crowded!)..my last trip last fall on Delta was packed like a sardine can! then our return flight does not leave amsterdam till 12:40p.m. on May 8th! I think I got a VERY GOOOOOOOD DEAL!!! so, you might not want to book that deal until you check priceline.com. you might get that very same flight for over $100 less!!! GOOD LUCK!
