Proper pronunciation?

Oh boy, here we go again...
I think Fox's comment was innocent enough and rather humorous!
Under actual "battle conditions", nobody will care
how its pronounced. One time I ordered an "orange-boom"
and got what I wanted without so much as a blink. (Instead of
"oranya-bome", I think.)


Same old, same old... So everybody is allowed to vent his or her opinion, whether positive or negative, but nobody is supposed to respond to it? As a matter of fact I am partly responsable for the language department in our company where we handle 19 languages so when somebody calls me a pseudo-linguistic maestro I can't help responding, that's my right isn't it? But okay, I'll stay out of discussions if people think I'm a bore...
