advice on smoking hash
The Ice-o-lator hashish (like Moonshine) that some folks are recommending doesn't taste like the traditional Moroccan hash we have known for decades. It's stronger for sure but you pay a price and that is harshness. (I cough like crazy)If you really want that old fashioned taste, stick to the Moroccan blonde. Ask for something that is fairly soft (usually that translates to fresh) and not too harsh.If you are smoking in a bong or pipe, don't hold the flame over the hash for too long. I've found that the first toke is best if the hash doesn't light at all but you still get some smoke and a great after taste. If the hash begins to burn too rapidly, you have probably applied too much heat. As a hash fancier, this is my method. Just enough heat to get smoke but not to start a fire!You may have to apply a little heat for every toke and you may have to take a few extra tokes but the taste and the ability to hold it down will be well worth it.
