Baseball Cap=Easy Mark?

Maybe it's because I'm Dutch but I can't take (dutch) grown-ups
who wear baseball caps very seriously. In many cases it is worn
to similate some sort of authority but on me it has the opposite
effect. I will not start a serious conversation with a dutch
guy wearing a baseball cap. It may be much more accepted in the
U.S. to wear a cap, in the Netherlands it does mark you either
as not to be taken very serouisly, or as a tourist.

I guess I never want to be so seriuos of a person that I would "not take someone seriuosly" b/c a person is wearing a baseball cap. Do I want to smack teh hats off of people that wear them side ways - yes I do but I also want to pull down their baggy pants and run. There are A LOT of base ball fans in America and we take pride in our team by wearing the caps. But sometimes we just wear them b/c we have bed head..... GO RED SOX!!!
