Various poetry locations,need directions|
I am looking for any types of open poetry readings in A'dam over the period of 27 Mar - 13 Apr. It's always interesting to both hear new poets and to expose my own works to others.
There are two places (so far) that I have found and would like some help with the locations:
This place has open poetry every Tuesday at 8pm,however I can't figure out from the website (since it's all in Dutch) where it's located. Anyone that can give me directions from the city center would be appreciated.
This place has open poetry on the first Tuesday of the month,I can't figure out where it is either.
This place has open poetry on the last Friday of the month at 8pm and I'd like to find out how to get to it also.
This place has open poetry on the second Thursday of the month at 8pm and I need to figure out how to locate it also.
i am pretty sure coffeeshop siberie has a open poetry night too.
2 of your venues are easy walking distance from Dam Square. If you download the Amsterdam map at http://www.coffeeshop.freeuk.com/ you'll see what I mean.
De Engelenbak is at Nes 71 or E6 on the map.
ABC Treehouse is at Voetboogstraat 11 or D7 on the map. Voetboogstraat is the 1 block long street between Kalverstraat and the also unamed street where Dampkring is located. For what it's worth I remember Voetboogstraat being recommended as a street with some low cost restaurants.
