Visiting in May

My wife and I have booked a trip to A'Dam in the middle of May,
and were wondering what to expect weather wise at this time.

Also, any info on the Acacia Hotel in the Jordaan would be
helpful.

Thanks in Advance,
ArseNick
You should have pleasant weather in May. The average temperature is between 45 and 63*f, I would say you're likely to get towards the upper end of that, unless you are very unlucky! May is one of the driest months, but you'll be very lucky if you spend more than a few days in Adam and don't get any rain! Plan for all weathers is my advice. We went last April and it was so warm we had to buy t-shirts as we only had sweaters and were too warm. Pack layers so that you can always add or remove as necessary. Either bring a brolly, be prepared to buy one or if you don't mind get wet! Wear comfy walking shoes or sneakers as you will do alot of walking.

I can't say about your hotel, but the Jordaan is lovely, I really enjoy walking and getting lost round there.
