What can and can't you do in A'dam?
I'm a virgin visitor to A'dam later this month and reading the various articles and posts, I am confused as to what is legal for the user (me/us) and the retailer (coffee shops).
Can anyone help?
I assume your question is regarding drugs, so that's how I'll answer.
Legal:
-Purchasing up to 5g of hash/marijuana per transaction. Shops probably won't sell 5g to you more than once a day unless you're in there smoking like a fiend. I've heard rumors of purchasing more than this, but it seems to be the exception, not the rule.
-Possessing up to 30g of hash/marijuana on your person at any one time
-Fresh psychedelic mushrooms
Illegal:
-Dried psychedelic mushrooms (considered hard drugs since they've been "processed" to dry them)
-ANY hard drugs (cocaine, LSD, heroin) anywhere, but ESPECIALLY inside coffeeshops. If you get spooked by the authorities and drop it on the floor and run out, the coffeeshop will get shut down. It's happened before and many coffeeshops have signs to that effect.
Beyond that, it's pretty much anything goes. Normal US/UK bar protocol, don't be an ass and you'll be just fine.
