Citymundo Apts question.

Hi. Nice site except for a few negative nellies.

Anyway, I was looking at some Citymundo apts and they seem pretty nice.

My question is about towels, sheets, etc. Things that a Hotel would normally take care of. How does it work? Do you bring your own?

If they are supplied, are they changed or is that up to the renter? If you're there for 2 weeks or more, the sheets would have to either changed or washed regularly.

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but the website doesn't sem to cover it.

Thanks for any help.
I rented a house for 10 days. The owner brought clean towels a few times and fresh sheets once. You will be paying the owner when you arrive, just tell him or her what your needs are. Don't expect the full "fresh linens daily" routine like first-rate hotels. It's more like you might do at home.

Pa

Ps. I would also ask about such things as coffee maker, music etc. just so that there are no surprises.
Why are you asking here? Email or call citymundo and they will be happy to tell you what will be in the apartment or house.
dupe, sorry
I was asking here because I was under the impression that people shared their 'experiences' here. As in the helpful reply from Bohannon. Thanks, BTW.

I'd rather hear from experienced members than someone from an agency.

I might ask why you would butt into my thread without offering anything useful.

Bored?
I agree. The collected knowledge of answered questions benefits us all.

There are answers to questions I've never thought of before, but yet am interested in this information.

This site is so useful because of that collected knowledge, and as whitescoprion mentioned the answers from those that have "been there done that" are the ones I am also looking for not the company/agencies response.
the rooms i have rented thru city mundo had all the stuff you need and the sheets and even the blankets were changed daily or atleast every other day. they also came with coffee/tea makers, alarm clocks, silverware, dishes etc.

in my opinion citymundo is the way to go during the high season, during the off season i think a deal from a hotel might be cheaper.
i should also add the city mundo staff have always been quick to answer any question i asked.
I had an excellent experience with City Mundo. After you make the deal, you are put in contact with the apartment owner. Last year in November I rented one, and it came with all linens, towels, etc. It also included, a house bong, papers, pipes, coffee, filters, maps, even a stripenkart. It was like being at home in Amsterdam. I can recommend City Mundo highly.

My thanks to all who took the time to provide a useful answer. Thumbs up!
So you negotiate with the owner. Cool.

I go on my own, but a few of those apts would be cheaper and nicer than a Hotel, even with a 2 person minimum. I like to eat a lot of raw fruits and veggies anf the fridge would really come in handy.

Sheets and towels every other day or so is fine by me.

I'm sorry if I caught an attitude with the one poster, but I don't see the point of posting replies like that. D'UH!! You mean call? As in telephone?

How useful!!!

I never would have thought of something so revolutionary.

No, just sarcastic. Understand the difference.
