Night clubs in Amsterdam are ... WILD ! [Pictures]

Well, party animals.... Amsterdam is indeed the place to party !
Great thing about Dutch people is that it's very easy to engage a conversation, so you won't be bored even you come as a single person.
There are many great night clubs around the country of course, but I happen to know Amsterdam much more....
Isn't Rotterdam better?
Could very well be, I could not compare as I don't know much of R'dam.

Talking about party and Rotterdam, if any of you are planning to come in mid august you gotta go and see the FFWD Heineken Dance Parade.
It's a street parade with DJ's on trucks going through the city ...

Wow. People dancing. To techno....er excuse me, 'house'.

interesting camera work.........i remember when the
"Bump" was the big thing....
which clubs do you go to in Dam?
nice work ralph. looks like on some of them you did the flash-in-the-middle-of-a-time-exposure thingy. i like the use of motion blur you get in some of them.

Cheers!
nice pics, digitalfrog. which club did you take these pics in?
Those were wicked pics!

I especially like the third and last pic. I wouldn't mind getting between those two brunette babes! The blonde was quite hot too!

They say the best things in life are free. What a crock of crap!
I,m only into techno, trance, hardcore. In Rotterdam look up www.radiodelta.net mastersofhardcore.nl some of the events are in surrounding cities, but a good number of them are in R,dam

Long live NL with the electronic scene.I hope this shit music that,s all so popular here in Hawaii- hip-hop,reggie don,t find it,s way to Holland. They unfortunately are showing up more in Amsterdam each time i go there
Just a correction-the 2nd address is www.mastersofhardcore.nl probably more underground type events

aqree - cant dance to some guy shaking his fist at me shouting about how much his Hummer cost and how big his jewellry is then wants to "keep it real"!
Howdy !

I guess I should have indeed numbered my pictures but here are the links to the club I took the picture. (from top to bottom)

The club is next to the Arena Hotel (there is another thread about it)

the party was hosted in the club above, but organised by MOTION

4:
Xtra Large, they make fantastic parties: very sexy and hot, but not falling in the cheap porn stuff.

I believe XtraLarge as well.

Okay, I hope the following will not be considered as SPAM (I have nothing to sell ;-) but if it is please forgive me and I will remove the link right away.
You can find some of my party pictures here:
This might give a better idea of the crowd you can find in some of those night clubs.
Again, last thing I want to do is annoy people so let me know if I should remove my link from this message.

Froggy.

What about those of us who don't like to dance? Or take pills to dance all night?
Personally, I hope this techno goes away. Good thing that the Dam has more hip hop nowadays. I still prefer rock and classic rock, but I guess that's just me.....someone who doesn't like to dance or watch people dance. Long Live De Kuil...... and Pink Floyd.

Hey Digitalfrog,

Great photos. I just checked out your gallery of nightlife and some of these parties look off the hook. Kinky Dreams, and Orgasm, woo woo...
I'll drink to that - Long live rock and classic rock :)

Nothing wrong with rock, but hip-hop has got to go.First of all techno and hardcore will never go away in A,dam or anywhere in NL.Not all,but many hip-hop and rap songs talk as being cool-violence against women, especially ones in the business that many including myself come to the Dam to enjoy.I personally witnessed one incident and it also involved a vehicle hip-hop so much glorified-a Cadillac Escalade. I,m still working on moving to Amsterdam and certainly don,t want this crap finding it,s way there!Guess Rotterdam is not that long of a drive for the good underground scene, also been to raves up north in Heerenveen-great hardcore techno-Qlimax,Masters of Hardcore.

So much for the negativity, here,s a few more links for more techno-most are raves, not clubs though.Great one this Saturday in town at the arena-Sensation Black. www.q-dance.nl www.id-t.com
I live in Amsterdam and would not mind living in Honolulu for a while ;-)
