Orange Tulips at the Market

Could someone please explain the meaning of this post to me?

:-)
I'm guessing he bought some Dutch, orange, tulips, at a local market there in North Carolina. Brought them home, and his wife (the 'old ball & chain) now wants to make a trip to Amsterdam.

Of course this is only my W.A.G.

Thanks Danny. Yet another example of two countries being divided by a common language!

:-)
Let that be a lesson to you for engaging in gay pastimes such as purchasing flowers... A waste of Euros that could otherwise have been spent on booze, weed and hookers.
ubl (uk bag lady)- dont start with cockney rhyming, thats a sure fire way to confuse me (and make me laugh), let along yanks..

Ok...can't stay, just have to pop down the frog and toad

:-)

seems today in America we are celebrating a "group of people" who left the Netherlands to move here.....you go figure!
we say...SWAG..scientific wild ass guess...

in the islands we have another form of english altogether called pidgin

howzit brah(how are you brother)

"whats up spark? got me some soap bar cos ur mother has a penis and your missus is a nutter"
As I said, my W.A.G. .
Or trouble and strife (Cockney rhyming slang for wife) as some would say!
