OXFAM FESTIVAL!!!

I found their menu photos very disappointing; both the image quality and the nugs shown.
At the very least I would have hoped they'd put a choice nug on a white background to show it off.

Still enjoy smoking their products though, especially those Grey-Mist Crystas.

I wasn't looking at the bud photos... it was more like:....WHAT'S ON the

menu..... salavating......by the way, anyone heard of an American DJ,

called Sneak. I met him during my recent visit here. He was going to

London next day.
Not sure if this is "news" but it's news to me.

After a loooooong absence Grey Area's website is back, and better than ever. Even complete with a menu! Although it ain't lookin' too current from what I hear about Recon and the likes.

http://www.greyarea.nl/

The rumors of the "new" opening hours seem to be true as well!

Anyone cofirm the Monday Openings?

Grey Area has a Volcano now?!!

Things just keep gettin' better by the day...
Speaking of opening times.

Do you know what time the Nes opens ??

Do you know what time the Nes opens ??

Used to be 5pm but they now open at 1pm.

...Boner...
Nice one Boner !
Thanks. l.

Just seeing those delectable buds turns me into a drooling fool. LOL
Grey Area business hours: Interpret the biz hours loosely, the same way the GA owners do.

It looks like Grey Area isn't the only one. I noticed on ACD that De Kuil/420 Cafe's website has resurfaced also:

http://www.420cafe.com

From what it says on the De Kuil site, I gather that after the big crackdown on coffeeshop advertising/websites, some shops are beginning to test the waters again. Of course, some coffeeshop websites seem to have survived unscathed or only slightly modified from before. Maybe they just know the right hands in which to put the payola? ;-)

Grey Area's old site was pretty good, but the web design on the new one is even better. I agree with you, lctricity, about the menu. It looks like an old one they just moved over from the old site. Maybe they'll update it soon.
Grateful for the link, Ic.

The new menu in the Grey Area, is on a laminate and of a different design, to the old, white and black version.

Highlights the DNA strains. Look's good to me.

(You'll be looking at it soon!!!!)

A superb spanish band will play next saturday in Amsterdam.....

OJOS DE BRUJO

a Barcelona based band, whose elements are from all over the world and whose music is a flamenco-basis with multiple contaminations from other styles, mainly african-ethnic and ragga........ great percussions, great guitars, great singers, GREAT SONGS!!!!!!

I can't be there, but all you lucky people can't miss them!!!!!

I hope "contaminations" are as good as "influences" in this case. I have heard some of their music before and they are very good.
I made a rude translation of the italian word, to say their unique mix of flamenco-african roots-reggae-scratches (!!!)
they are terrific
Isn't that rather subjective?
Isn't subjectivity essential to any review, be it a coffeeshop, restaurant, or a music critique? After all the opinion is the reviewer's, not the reader's.
