Greek restaurant reccomendation??

We love greek food and when in Amsterdam we usually go to Mykonos in the Leidseplein area. However, when we went last year it wasn't as good as it had been and we had a rather dissapointing Kleftiko. I was wondering if anyone could rccomend another good greek for us to try?
Hey Angellore, there's a Greek or Mediterranean restaurant on Albert Cuypstraat which is supposed to be pretty good. I forgot the name, I'll post it when it pops to mind.
Traiterie Grekas
Singel 311
Amsterdam

I've heard good things about this place but not tried it myself yet...
I would second Biblio's suggestion.
A SMALL Greek restaurant.. only a few tables. Everything available for take-out, which is what I generally do. Good food; helpful staff, next door to Hotel Estheria; looks onto Singel.
Enjoy,
DR RB
There's also restaurant Kriti on the Pieter Baststraat. I've heard good things about them.

And i will 'third' that suggestion (if that's possible) but it is VERY small (7 tables max ?) I had to wait ages for a table and that was quite early in the evening - good news is thatits not far from the Gollem so you can take a few nice glasses of trappist ale while you wait and quite close to Hoppe and other Spui bars if you want to people watch.
Kriti is indeed excellent. Good food, good vale, nice atmosphere.

Yanni is the owner. If the raki is flowing there will ba singing and if you are lucky, dancing and plates flying.

The best tram stop would be Roelof Hartplein. Tram 5,2 4 and 3. will all take you there. Otherwise a 10 minute walk from Museumplain.

Regards, Roland
Can someone tell me how to get to Peiter Bastraat from Roelf Hartplein
Thanks guys :)
To Ouzeri on De Clercqstraat is fantastic. Trams 12 13 or 14

Thank you Anne
Theres a little place on the Prinsenstraat that's not bad

:-)
Roland, you mean tram 12 instead of 2.

Do you know the College Hotel, Nellie? If you're standing in front of it, looking at it, the Pieter Baststraat is the first or second street on the right.
