Bicycle from Amsterdam to Haarlem

How long is the trip to Haarlem via bike ? We have kicked around doing this for the past couple of trips and this year it is a strong possibility. Any info how routes, places to rent bikes, etc would be greatly appreciated.
its 19km time all depends on you how fast you go!(about 30min to 1 hour if your lance armstrong then 1.9min)
take haarlemmerstraart it turn in to haarlemmerweeg just after haftweg its turns in to a200 then amsterdamsevaart and your there!!
it s really boring
Once upon a time.......... Boney and I were on the train and saw Birdy and Blueberry and ....somebody else? Anyway, they were on bikes and we hung out the train window and yelled at them. It was lovely.

and I am sure Birdman, under his breath, called you a whore.
It takes a good hour or so. Call it two for wandering/smoking/geting lost.

Pickup one of .

On the way back we went past the airport and into town via Sloten.

for rentals.

Have fun.
I can also recommend Bike City.

If you're heading over during the tulip season, , and generally flat for the whole journey.

I'd have to agree with winnie though - the most boring portion of the ride was between Haarlem & Amsterdam. You could always take the train back from there.
Do you enter Haarlem through the if you arrive by bike?

Peace, Des.
Damstraat rent a bike has always been a good place in my experience.
