GVB Dagkaart

The ADam Public Transporation website says that a supplemental
ticket is required for the nightbuses, but also says that a day
ticket is good for all tram, metro and bus lines. This is confusing.
Is a day ticket also good for the night buses for that day, or
do you need a supplemental with the day ticket? I am totally
overplanning this trip, but I am so excited -- just 80 days left
'til I'm there!!! Thanks.

Nightbuses require a special ticket and a higher fare. There are GVB,NZH,Midnet buslines. The fare and ticket system varies dependent on which company you are utilizing. Carry lower denomination Neder cash in case you need to pay cash for your ticket from the driver. They don't change larger bills. If you have an idea now of where you are going at night, you can find the proper line (and bus #/company/ reuired ticket) on the APTI site, print a copy and carry it with you on your trip. Figuring out all the ins and outs of Dutch public travel is part of the "adventure" kiddo. Have fun.
