It is my understanding that the there is no official policy
against cannabis use on trains in the Netherlands. It is considered
rude to do so in public, and on trains. I have never encountered
a problem with the conductor, and they have walked in on me in
a cabin, by myself, that was full of smoke. If I am in a cabin
with another passenger that I feel will be tolerant, I just ask
their permission. I have never met any resistance, they usually
just chuckle and say, "Go ahead". The cabins do air
out rapidly if you open the crank window. A little one-hit pipe
will cut down on the smell/smoke considerably. Eno
