My understanding is that you can only get the germ for spongiform...etc.
(mad cow) from eating the brains of the infected animals. That's
probably why the French and English are so worried! Am I wrong?
RE: I don't understand the words germ and spongiform, but I think you're close. Indeed you can eat all the muscles/beef but things like brains, kidneys, livers, testicles and bones are dangerous.And Indeed this is one of the reasons why French, English, and Germans are panicking. Dutch don't eat things like brains, kidneys etc, so they have less to worrey.You made a good point!See you, John
