Indica vs. Sativa, Round II

I will refer to my earlier posts and agree with you generally,
but I find the only difference being a more tired, stoney feel
to indicas and a more uplifting\enerjetic feeling from sativas.
From High Times Magazine, "Though there is very little scientific
evidence, it is believed by most that a pure sativa produces
a "heady" buzz, while pure indica produces a more physical
"body" buzz". Your still stoned and "mission
accomplished" in my book either way!!

I think there is no question that a significant difference in stoned effects occur between indica and sativa. Geographically, sativas tend to come from areas closer to the equator and hence have longer photoperiodic periods before the floral phase occurs. It is logical to conclude the molecular aspects of THC and other componants have evolved seperatly also. The freshness has an impact too. Anyone who has smoked fresh Thai weed will probablty concur. Sativas do tend to lose that uppity type stone after being stored over time, like any other herb. The lack of hard scientific data is probably due to the social taboo towards weed in most western countries.:-)
