German/Czech Beer in AMS?

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Belgium/Netherlands
ending in AMS for 5 nights. If you folks are interested, I will
soon post all our neat "finds". Question: We really
enjoy quality beer and enjoyed many cozy places to drink it,
but we also love a good German lager or Czech Pils on tap and
did not see it offered in AMS. Does anyone know where it is served?
More later, thank you again everyone for all the suggestions
and advise, we are going back in November for our 6th AMS trip.

There are many pubs with a large selection of beers. One of them is 'De Wildeman' (how is your Dutch? ;-) located in the same alley as coffeeshop 'De Kuil'. They serve over 300 varieties of beer, and have 8 different taps that change each month, but Urquell is often listed.Cheers, John
