This hotel is located in the heart of amsterdam, between nieuwezijds voorburgwal and niewendijk. very nice hotel. Stayed several days, and enjoyed the clean, quiet place to spend the nights. Review by Kelly Hagendoorn from Netherlands Good hotel, great location! Golden tulip amsterdam-centre - is indeed located in the middle of the very old center of amsterdam. (not near the leiseplein as the other review say!). In a few minutes walk in any direction you are near the jordaan, centraal station, the dam, damrak, red light district, and chinatown. And, if you take your car, the carpark is under the hotel, and they give you a 25% discount on the 24 hour parking tarief. P. S. Review by James T. Hiss Good Location, Friendly service Recently stayed at the Golden Tulip for vacation. The young staff was quite friendly and professional. When I lost a screw from my eyeglasses, the front desk staff literally scrambled to fix them. The Leidseplein location is prime - only a couple of minutes from the museums and city centre. The rooms are quiet and well appointed, particularly the bathrooms. The housekeepers also enjoy it if you fire up in their face. |
