Average visitor rating (7.5 /10 )Write a review ![]() Terrible I never write reviews, but having just got back from the multatuli i feel i must let people know what an awful hotel it is. Tiny rooms, very shabby that look nothing like the photos. That was the least of our problems when we were kept awake by the rustling in the bins at night. ![]() A bit grubby My girlfriend kindly took me away for a weekend in amsterdam and booked us into what she thought was a reasonable hotel. I think she paid about £400 for 3 nights and whilst we weren't expecting opulent suites we thought it would at least be clean and comfortable. when we initially arrived they had given us a grotty attic room with two single beds. after complaining we manged to barter up to a double room where the sheets were damp and sticky before we even got in the bed. The paint was pealing off the walls and the bathroom stank of piss. The hotel staff were most unhelpful and i certainly wouldn't go back. i wouldn't usually complain about the standards if it had not been so expensive. Had we payed a lot less money it would have been far more easier to put up with such bad conditions. ![]() unfriendly we found staff to be very unfriendly. it was far too expensive for the facilities available and the view we received (the outside wall of the rest of the hotel). it was also noisy late at night. however the rooms were clean and tidy. we are due to go back in april, however we will be staying somewhere else. |
