Review by lasthamlet  left out of kadinsky's, look straight ahead... execellent restaurant. execellent prices. the food here is awesome, and the check will be suprizingly lower than expected. we had duck, steaks, everything good in here, and the bill was comparable to as if we had eaten in one of a'dams many deli's. honestly, this place was a real gem of a restaurant. if your are in kadinsky coffeeshop, when you have smoked up real good, leave the shop going to the left on rosemarijsteeg, the block will run out in 15 steps. so, look right across the street, see the green canopy, with the word 'beaume' on it. if your are hungry, look no futher... Review by a Visitor How strange! After living in Amsterdam for years and having been to Spuistraat dozens of times, I just ate at Beaume for the first time yesterday. And now, I have just read an internet restaurant review for the first time and here it is again! Fate? Who cares! The food was excellent, the service was good, the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was really nice. And it was open after most restaurants had closed! The only thing I would improve would be to make the main courses bigger - we skipped starters and were both a bit hungry when we left! Otherwise - excellent! Review by a Visitor  Beaume- a real treat and suprise! After passing this Gem of a restaurant for 26 visits to Amsterdam I couldnt resist. Very impressive- service, food and drink. Most impressive- the owner- Peter...customer focused and well read. The guy is "genuine Amsterdam".
