Its all about location location location
We are semi-mature couple and we stayed in the hotel cabourg paris september 6th to 10 2008 last. We found the staff exceptionally friendly. The rooms however were on the small side with not enough room to swing the hotel cat. (the hotel does have a cat but we did not try this out) but when you consider the price and the fact that it is in easy reach of anything worth seeing in paris its well worth the money. its not the ritz or paris hilton but if you want large rooms with panoramic views of paris well then this is not the hotel for you and maybe you need to reconsider your budget. But if you want budget accommodation with clean rooms, (a little noisy perhaps so dont do your honeymoon here unless you are exhibitionists) but all in all worth the money. This hotel is ideal for a quick stay up to 4 days or so but not more. Good value for money. Good location. Be prepared for small rooms though.

terrible stay !!
Please trust me on this one, you don't want to spend your hollidays at the Hotel de Cabourg; I booked this hotel through the internet and price seemed to be acceptable, and didn't expect that much from a 2star hotel. When I got to the room I see there are two single beds instead of a double bed, so I go and ask kindly to change it for what I had booked some days before. The answer of the man was 'It's the only thing left, if you don't like it you can have your money back'! Well yeah thank's! I have now struggled my way from the airport to the Hotel, it's late at night and I just want to have a shower and some sleep. What any other chances do you have?? The man at the reception was very arrogant and cocky, he told me I could speak to the 'owner' in the morning.. Ofcourse the same arse was sitting there in the morning. The walls are thin as paper so whatever happens in any other room you'll hear it loud and clear, and so do your room neighbours.... Description from the hotel: 'Soundproof Rooms' yeah right! Just imagine going for a nice weekend with your girlfriend to Paris and get single beds, a receptionist acting as if he was doing you a favour and paying for something you didn't want. Please AVOID THIS HOTEL!!! you do not want to spend a single ⬠there. You've been warned
