Great as a base for exploring the region

Stayed for five days in august and found this hotel to be very convenient as a base for exploring the region up to as far as carcassone and down to as far as barcelona. Our room was quite basic but comfortable enough, the building is old and rustic and the owners (arnold and wendy) were very welcoming and helpful with advice and suggestions. Wendy (owners wife) is a legend with her cooking and deserves a michelin star in our opinion. Probably not a place to stay for fussy folk but we enjoyed our stay and our expectations were met. Shall return some time in the future.

    Lovely setting

Stunning scenery, great food and plenty of local wine to choose from. Hosts made us feel very welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer than three days.

A peaceful place to stay in a tranquil area

A pretty and rustic country inn set amongst the vineyards and right across from the corbiere's. Friendly, helpful owners who are there to assist but dont hover around the place watching the guests like some places we have stayed in. Comfortable rooms, small but not jammed with furniture. Nice and simple. No phone and tv in the room so no-one to bother you. The owners wife made us the most wonderful packed lunch which we enjoyed on a walk along one of the country roads. Wine tasting is available next door and you can see how the wines are made. Highly recommend a stay here, especially the food and breakfasts!.
