'Everything you always wanted to know about ... the Dutch Golden Age and life on board ... but were afraid to ask.' Beautiful objects and paintings and adventurous scenes by museum theatre on board. It was great! Review by skyhigh420 A great museum for sailing buffs This museum was a little stale, but it has a great collection of model ships from the oldest to the newest, both sailing vessels and newer ships. The VOC ship which sits in the harbour is very interesting, with a crew who act out some of the everday 'jobs' on the ship. If you like boats or maritime history this is a great place.
