The moment i walked into the lobby i was greeted like a family member. What is impressive is that the staff is very friendly, and honest. This was no hypocritical wellcome. This hotel is simply stunning and is fantastic value for money, it is a perfect place to stay. The bedrooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are generously sized and modern. The rooms are really nice and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. We have been to hanoi many times and each time we say we want to stay at the splendid star hotel. This time we did and we're sorry we waited this long. The service is perfect, the price was excellent as well especially for the quality of service we received. I was greeted by the friendly staff that gave me a great deal on the length of my stay. The ambiance of the hotel gave a home like feel for such a long stay. It was nice to have owners that were able to give great insite on what to do and where to eat in hanoi. Breakfast came with my stay, which i had many options to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to hanoi. You will be very pleased. The staff there really makes you feel at home and definitely goes out of their way to serve you. The breakfast at the hotel is really good too. Everything is pretty good but you should try their chicken noodle despite of beef noodle, they always offer us many thing of juice, fruit and coffee, it's so cool !!! Rezension von Stah aus Spanien  Amazing 4 nights stay ! Staying at this wonderful place was a dream that came true. We enjoyed every second of our 4 nights stay and the hosts made it absolutely perfect. the place is located away from hoan kiem lake(5 min), but this makes it a wonderful place to relax and forget the noise of a city. the owners are very kind people (helped us a lot starting from rides to the city and finishing with arranging a traditional vietnamese wedding suit for us - thanks a lot to them) the hotel is a real paradise (and it still has all the benefits of civilization you might need like dvd and cables in the room and 24h wifi internet access for free). on our last day we felt that we don’t want to leave. really planning to come back. Rezension von William aus Vereinigte Staaten Memorable stay at splendid star hotel ! Room is small but it is furnished with table, at the lobby medium size lcd tv on the wall, fridge etc.. All in good condition. Bath room has a nice counter top basin but the shower area is qutie tight. Cleanliness is not at an perfect level since i have a sensitive nose, but i would say it is at good level for most people. The location is perfect for people who are there for shopping as some busiest streets are just within few min walking distance. I would recommend this hotel for people who would like to stay comfortably and yet do not have alot of budget, and for people who are mainly there for shopping. Service was very good - personal was very helpful. If i will come to hanoi some day in future, i am sure that i will use just splendid star hotel. But may be you can add better map to find hotel. Very nice is the location of the hotel, as it is close to hoan kiem lake street which is the main shopping street of hanoi, very nice and you can do most of the things by foot. Rezension von Badenas aus Spanien Splendid star hotel is fantastic !!! Haven't been in a big chain hotel in a long while after discovering boutique hotels. This is a good surprise. Very clean, nice rooms, excellent service. The location of the splendid star hotel is fantastic, right opposite hanoi church.. Its within walking distance of the old street quater, where there are lots of shops and malls to browse in. So overall, the hotel is a solid, dependable hotel, but i do think it is in need of a bit of a makeover. While the restaurants at the old marketplace is just within the walking distance and it's located strategically. I will highly recommend this place. All the positive comments about the hotel are true. It is excellent overall value, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good location which not too far from the night market.
