I stayed at the Garden House for approximately two weeks in late April â early May 2006. It is a real jewel, a hotel that I highly recommend. The Garden House management is personable, exceptionally helpful, experienced and knowledgeable. Good English. Located in Sultan Ahmet, the premises are within easy walking distance of Aya Sophia, the Hippodrome, a tramline, banks, and ATMs. Taxi service is available within just minutes. The rooms are immaculate and spacious â mine was Ottoman style and the twin beds were quite comfortable. Garden House is located in a quite, serene area â no traffic or street noise and you can get a good nightâs rest. There is indoor and outdoor dining â terrace dining when the weather is good. The free breakfasts was uniformly good. The chef does a superb job of preparing tasty fish dinners. There is a computer with Internet service available at no charge for hotel residents. The Garden House is a real winner! |
